The company has 1 location with approximately 20 employees. The prospect is responsible for researching telecom providers and makes the final selection; however, contract sign-off is done by the Owner. The organization is actively looking at various providers on the market. He is looking for a plan to include 15 mobile devices, a few iPads and also a “Fleet Complete” system for their trucks. They have been looking for alternative options due to the high data usage they incur. They have 3GB per user shared; the iPads have 1GB per device also shared across the plan. He mentioned some users go over, up to 10-16GB per month, while other users do not use the data at all. They have been working internally to address the data usage issue with their employees but a better data plan from the service provider will also assist on this front. The phones are used mainly for local travel with occasional travel down south to US or Mexico in which the company would call in for an add-on. They have Canada-wide calling at this time with basic features such as voice mail and call display. Their current monthly cost is $50-55 per mobile device and $10/month for their iPads with occasional data over-usage charges. They have reached out to Bell who provided them a similar plan at $55 per line. Bell’s fleet tracking system was lower in cost but the phone plans were similar. Although Bell provided porting credits for the company to transfer their mobile plans, the plans and costs did not present significant benefits to the organization in comparison to their current provider. He would consider switching providers right away if some type of incentive can be provided and the plan presents a benefit from their current provider with TELUS. Implementation could take place as soon as possible if the plans and costs are competitive and provide a benefit in comparison to their current provider. Prospect requested a phone meeting.
